Flight Instructor Rating - HELI
Have a passion for flying that is over flowing? Share that passion by teaching the next generation of pilots by getting your Instructor Rating! In this course the student becomes the teacher. You will learn how to instruct your own students via ground and flight preparations.
Admission Requirements
- Current Commercial Helicopter Pilot Licence (including current medical)
- Confirmed Job Position as an Instructor, or the prospect of one
- Minimum of 250 hours Pilot in Command and 15 hours of Instrument time

Program Requirements
- 25 hours of Instructor Rating ground school
- 70% or higher on the HIRAF written exam
- 70% or higher on the FIREN written exam
- Minimum of 30 hours dual flight instruction
- Successfully pass flight test
